Hi-Rez Studios lists in a forum post, the upcoming design goals for Smite.
"There are some significant design changes we are planning to test out over the next few patches."
Bacchus, the God of Wine revealed today. Also, an interesting thing to notice during the video is at 5 minutes and 26 seconds in. Watch closely at what Thor does. Possible upcoming change for Thor as well?

A new Arena Mode will be available in the next Smite patch along with the release of Loki, The Trickster god.
Our group of 3 joined a Smite queue. At the god selection screen, our 2 random teammates both made the mistake of selecting tanks. By making the decision to lock in 2 tanks they had no idea what they had just done. Team Tank could now be unleashed!

Recorded a bit of Deadlight gameplay today. I've been enjoying this game very much. It sort of reminds me of old side-scrolling titles like Another World and Flashback.
